Hudson to partner Campbell in 2020

Promising young co-driver Jared Hudson will partner Ford Fiesta AP4 driver Phil Campbell in the Brian Green Property Group New Zealand Rally Championship in 2020.

Jared, the youngest member of the Hudson co-driving clan, will replace Mal Peden, who will be co-driving elsewhere next season.

The 15-year-old spent the past couple of seasons with David Taylor, who has championed the youngster’s cause for a seat in the open category.

Jared Hudson’s father Rocky, mother Lisa and sister Amy have co-driven for various drivers in the championship over the past few seasons and have achieved at a very high level so there will be plenty of advice for him to call upon.

Campbell showed promise in The Roofing Store Fiesta in 2019 and looked set to win Rally Waitomo until a final stage mishap.

The combination should find themselves at the pointy end of the field next year.

The 2019 New Zealand Rally Championship is proudly supported by Brian Green Property Group, Gull New Zealand, Dunlop New Zealand, HELLA New Zealand, Stadium Finance, Omega Rental Cars and Suzuki New Zealand.
