Hunt’s livery voted championship’s best

Ben Hunt’s Skoda New Zealand Fabia Rally 2 has been voted as having the best livery in the Brian Green Property Group New Zealand Rally Championship.

A recent competitor survey sent out to all 2024 competitors saw Hunt’s green, black and white Skoda as the most favoured look.

A total pf 31% of those that completed the survey picked Hunt’s Skoda as the best livery – well clear of the other challengers.

Some competitors made mention of Hunt’s opening round tribute livery to Brooklyn Horan and Tyson Jemmet that he ran at Otago, which was well-received.

“The way he acknowledged Brooklyn and Tyson was on point at the start of the season and his livery is just as good now,” said one competitor.

Emma Gilmour’s Vantage NZ Citroen C3 received 9% of the vote while Jack Hawkeswood’s Force Motorsport GR Yaris, Hayden Paddon’s Hyundai New Zealand i20 AP4, Andy Martin’s Carbonworks Volkswagen Polo Rally 2 and the Masport throwback livery on Paul Fraser’s Escort also received multiple votes.
